Central location, old fashioned quirky decor and design. Makes a change from the bland modern hotels that make it difficult to remember what town or city one is in. Bit rough around the edges but pleasant staff, not a bad price.

Whereas this hotel clearly was in the past a beautiful, historic hotel, it is at present a place of little charm.
