My friend an I had a wonderful stay at the Briarcliffe Inn. Mary and Bill are wonderful hosts full of warm hospitality. The Inn is quiet, full of antiques and reading materials, the beds are topnotch and breakfast was delicious. The beach is close by. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Mary and Bill, we would like to thank you again for being such warm and friendly hosts. It was a wonderful experience staying at your inn; you really made us feel at home. Your breakfasts were delicious and we miss the friendly chats with you over a glass of wine! We will definitely stay at your inn again, if we... More

When we got there, we were not sure to like it, but after a couple of hours having walked around the house, went to see the beach, saw the pigs, we knew we would love the place. Mary and Bill are great hosts, the food is excellent. I had also the chance to meet Bruno, a very important dog, a... More

We stayed here for one night in August. Closest city is Summerside about 20 minutes away by car. No TVs in room. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. They directed us to a nearby beach which was lovely. The breakfast (eggs benedict) was fantastic.

We've stayed at over a dozen different B&Bs on the island, and Briarcliffe remains our top pick (this year was our 4th visit). Briarcliffe owners Bill and Mary Kendrick provide exactly what we look for in a B&B: - a super comfy bed for a good night's sleep - big, thirsty bath towels - engaging conversation over an enormous gourmet... The Inn is in a great calm area. The work that Mary and Bill have put in to the place is extraordinary! The rooms and beds were very comfartable and the food was amazing. The owners are very involved on the island and have many suggestions to give.

My husband and I travelled with my sister and her husband and had a 3-day stay at the Briarcliffe Inn. We had a very fluid itinerary and Mary and Bill contributed signficantly to our visit. It started off with a late afternoon arrival and a 'can I get you a beer or glass of wine' before we even had to... More

My boyfriend and I decided to book a last-minute trip to PEI over Labor Day and chose Briarcliffe Inn based on the excellent reviews, welcoming dog policy and unique location, 50 mins outside of Charlottetown. We could not have been happier with our decision. Mary & Bill were beyond accommodating. They made us a delicious breakfast every morning and then... More

Mary and Bill are gracious, relaxed and warm hosts and great cooks. Breakfasts were amazing; the house is charming; and the setting is as pastoral as it gets. I would definitely return!
