Tepoztlan, La Villa Bonita and it's Family and Staff are AMAZING. Ana and Rob don't spare a single thing in making sure that you get the best of the best in their unique and breathtaking location. Chef Ana's market tours and cooking lessons were informative & involving... the hard copy information and recipes I received as apart of the cooking... More

Words cannot truly describe the feelings we experienced at La Villa Bonita Culinary Hotel in Tepoztlán, Mexico. The feelings are BEYOND description; however, the closest word that we could use is a feeling of being “totally connected,” in every sense of the word… being connected to the location destination (Tepoztlán as a mystical town), to the hospitality (Ana, Robb, their... We spent New Years week in magical La Villa Bonita and can't recommend it more highly. Nestled at the base of a mountain, this spot would be a lovely hotel alone - a sunny, comfortable room, heartstopping views, a serene and beautiful pool, and a short walk into funky Tepoztlan. But what sets La Villa Bonita apart are Chef Ana's... More

If you enjoy cooking, you will love this place! In any event, it is a beautiful place with terrific weather. We enjoyed everything about our trip here. Ana is very personable and warm and makes you feel at home. We especially enjoyed a little personal attention from their dog, Mojo. We made many new friends and enjoyed our trips to... More

Our week at La Villa Bonita was one of our best vacations - ever! The surroundings are beautiful, our hosts were accommodating and fun, the food was delicious, the trips to market a feast for the eyes, and the cooking experience awesome. Even though we kept on the go, the days and evenings were relaxing and peaceful. Chef Ana was... More

Our daughter picked this up on Bloomspot. All of us (6, three generations) went. Ana led us through buying, preparing chicken in mole. Of course, we ate it. Wonderful experience. Will have to come back.

I bought this holiday through Living Social Escapes as a birthday gift for my husband. He loves Mexican food and cooking. It was fabulous! We booked a couple of extra days cooking and included her breakfast each morning as well. The town is a short walk away and there are plenty of restaurants. Chef Ana was inspiring in the kitchen... I'm a Gringa, blue eyes and blonde hair. But now I am also a Mexicana corrazon. I can make tortillas and mole. I'm not afraid of lard either. By some touch of grace, my friend and I found ourselves the only guests at this hotel/cooking school. We got all of Chef Ana's attention! We watched over her boys as they... More

I attended Ana and Robb 's cooking school and have never experienced such a relaxed, but professional experience of any kind. The grounds and the rooms at their place were clean, quiet, and very nicely decorated. The service of airport transportation is hard to find anywhere! I was sent back to another time and place while cooking the most delicious... More

My niece and I spent the weekend (two-night package) at La Villa Bonita; we had a fantastic time. Robb and Ana were very welcoming, personal and attentive. We enjoyed shopping at the local market and cooking with Ana. The mexican dishes that we cooked were absolutely fantastic. The grounds are beautiful, relaxing and soothing. This was a different type of... More
