Peaceful picturesque spot amongst the vines and blooming pomegranate trees with the mountain ranges as a backdrop. Beautiful place to unwind and relax. Everything you need is available in the generous sized accommodation. Clean well kept and they even provide you with bacon eggs muesli and milk. Leila and Michael are generous & accommodating hosts. Will be back in April with the kids for the pomegranates :)

Stunning location, lovely accommodation with a spacious bedroom and spa, kitchen and lounge room and friendly, down to earth management. Vineyard is your backyard, blue hills in the distance and perfectly clean, modern and tasteful living environment. Little extra touches like the provision of bacon, eggs and bread with jams and honey indicate the care taken by the owners to lay on an easy and enjoyable travel experience. We loved it! We thank you Laila and Michael for a great stay in the Hunter.

Our stay at Talga estate was really amazing. The rooms were spacious and the patio out the back of the room was so peaceful and private. Would highly recommend. One thing to keep in mind is that the accommodation is at least a 10-15 minute drive to restaurants and the central part of town.

I'm two nights into a four-night stay and I'm loving this place. The accommodation is clean and large. The view is fantastic. It is so quite, yet it's barely 10 minutes from the motorway, so it's so easy to get to. My favourite restaurant in the Hunter (Lillinos) is 5 minutes away. Laila is a very gracious and generous host. The accommodation is just 3 two bedroom apartments, so it would be ideal for a few couples to get together and hang out. Which is what we will do next time we come up. Highly recommended.

Had two nights at Talga with friends. Accommodation was perfect and so peaceful. 2 bedroom place was clean, comfortable & well equipped for anything you need. Breakfast pack more than generous and lovely outdoor area overlooking vines to enjoy it! Owners were welcoming and we were invited to pick pomegranates before we left for home!! A lovely weekend and will definitely stay here again on next visit to the Hunter. Highly recommend!

Second stay here in one of the self contained apartments which accommodates two couples in separate rooms with ensuites. Very peaceful location but still an easy drive to restaurants and wineries on the north side of the valley. Good place to stay if attending concerts as bus picks up and drops off out the front. Eggs, bacon, cereals and bread provided for self catering breakfasts. Very well equipped kitchen and BBQ if you don't want to eat out. We will return.
