This B&B has just changed owners who are welcoming and warm. The room is lovely overlooking the garden and vegetable plot. The whole place is really comfortable and lovely walks nearby. Montagu is a place worth a stop on the R62. They staff were friendly and even washed our car!! Highly recommended with a beautiful drive into Capetown.

Charming Guest House- Campbell and Ursula answered all of our questions and shared their beautiful property. ( learned about olive groves and community projects.) Safe area looking at the mountains. Tea time with wine.

Tucked away from the main flow through Montagu, this place is a real country charmer. We stayed at the Montagu Vines for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment. Richard was a perfect host and welcomed us with a carafe of wine, most welcome after a long drive and this was served every afternoon. Our room which was in the garden was very comfortable and our most memorable night was a barbecue (a modest additional cost)... More

Situated in a quiet corner of the town within a few minutes walk of the restaurants. Delightful rooms overlooking the valley and a welcome glass of wine served outdoors. The breakfast was wonderfully served in the old house and having our car washed was a nice touch.

We were welcomed by Richard, a very nice host. He treated us on a nice bottle of white wine, delicious. A nice little swimming pool, big garden with lying chairs. The rooms in the garden are smaller and less comfortable than in the main building. No airco, can be a problem when it is hot...

Lovely setting and excellent accommodation. Montagu a good place to stay on Route 62 - make sure you visit the bird corner. Richard was very helpful to us when one of our party was quite ill and we needed to stay an extra night. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.
