Loved it. Relaxed and unpretentious. Staff were exceedingly helpful. The restaurant is across the road and right on the beach. The night markets are an easy walk away and the local bus stop is just up the road. We had a great stay here.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights, the rooms are in need of repair and updating,they were full of mosquitos and the toilet leaked. the mosque behind the accomodation woke us up every morning and yes..the staff are rude and unhelpful.I would advise anyone vising batu ferengi to stay at d'ferengi hotel,very cheap,modern and clean.

We stayed here based on TA reviews and frankly it was not as good as reviews indicated. Rooms are tired and poorly appointed (compared to similar GHs in Thailand), Staff can be quite rude (as others have noted). This place is ok. hey there, for a budget stay you cant go wrong... our double suite room was £20 a night and great value for money. It was clean, spacious and comfy! :) The shower was hot water too! Staff were friendly, free Wifi... free sky TV too. The guesthouse is Muslim and so no alcohol or shoes permitted in the building. Great... More
