Old-fashioned small inn on the edge of the old town on a difficult corner. Clean. English-speaking staff, polite. Better be physically healthy, as parking is down the hill and if your room is on the second floor, in addition to walking up the hill, you then also have to walk up steep stairs. Decent but not great crowded restaurants with... More

Dear Sirs, we are sorry if you have had many problems with our hotel. But I would note that is the first time that a customer has so negative opinion of our hotels, especially of our Superior rooms, the most requested by new customers and the most popular by regular customers. I would like to clarify: Parking: To access our... More

We made reservations over six weeks ago for two nights, two suites just off the lobby. The double suite, "The Ginestra" has windows on the south and east, with beautiful views. The single suite "The Edera" overlooks the garden by the pool. These rooms are adjacent to each other, and just off the lobby, with a beautiful sitting room in... More

I spent a mere two nights at this hotel but thoroughly enjoyed myself. I had a comfortable room overlooking the valley. The staff was friendly and helpful and ready to whip up a delicious cappucino to start my day. There is a lovely outdoor patio with breathtaking views and this was my breakfast spot of choice. Perched on the old... More

We stayed in the suite (no 6) and had nice little living room as well as a bedroom. The view from the terrace and pool of Tuscany takes your breath away. Stunning. The kind man behind the desk (with the white hair) is the owner and speaks good english and looks after any need you have. A small boutique hotel... More

We were greeted byte front desk staff and settled in quickly. The garden is small but delightful and the rooms are all you could need.

We stayed for 5 wonderful nights here and were treated very well. You can sometimes hear noises in neighboring rooms, but it wasn't horrible. We're hoping to return soon!

I had a wonderful visit in Montalcino, staying at Hotel Vecchia Oliviera. I was warmly welcomed by the gracious staff members, who always went out of their way to help me with anything they could. I felt very safe and secure, as if visiting family. Gratzie!

Stayed here for 10 days for a leisure trip with my wife, focused on food and wine of Tuscany. Being visiting the region for more than 20 years, I find Montalcino an excellent base for exploring Tuscany, specially if you prefer the Siena area (rather than Florence´s). This hotel is very cozy and charming, with stunning views (get a room... More
