We loved Castello Banfi. We stayed four nights at the beginning of a three week holiday in Italy. Our room number 37 "Principessa", was a free standing building with a large bedroom, separate sitting room with table and chairs and a very spacious bathroom ( shower only). Now this is called a property and experience combination...truly world class... It's expensive but worth every penny If you get a chance ....don't hesitate to stay in the middle of nowhere cause this is world class in every way

My wife and I just spent 3 nights at Castello Banfi in Montalcino. We have stayed at many of the best resorts in the world and this is now one of them. The facilities are beautiful, the staff was incredible and the food and wine were also wonderful. This is as good as it gets.
