WE arrived in the pouring rain without booking and were made to feel very welcome. staff helpful and pleasant. Very good value,modern, fantastic breakfast , beautiful room. Very convenient for train and bus and town .Great to have good sized swimming pool also.A.good base from which to explore whole area.

We stumbled upon this hotel, just re-opened on May 13 2012. Whatever was here before is goine. This is now the best hotel you can get around lake Garda. We just stayed there last week The hotel. Is centrally located and you get get a feel for the area. Good breakfast. Smile faces (not always the case in costa rica) and good drinks. I recomend the vulcano viiew rooms.

Clean, friendly, easy check-in and check-out. Excellent room with all the amenities, large bathroom, big-screen TV, great view of the volcano, comfortable bed, and good pillows. Quiet, but in the middle to town, near all restaurants and activities. Wonderful staff from check-in, bar and restaurant. Knowledgeable and helpful, English-speaking. Air conditioned and beautifully decorated. We can wholly recommend this hotel.

Pool area is excellent. The rest of the hotel is not really 4-star. The staff are quite grumpy and unfriendly. The hotel is centrally located but in my opinion, not necessarily a 4 star hotel. It needs some renovation and more charm. The pool area seems to be new but the rooms are furnished simply. The staff was friendly. Too much concrete and no color and no taste. The breakfast was o.k. For one or two nights o.k.
