Don't be dissuaded by the lack of a website (as I almost was) - Salisbury House is excellent.
I stayed in the Yellow (twin) Room for four nights on a business trip. The room was spacious, well-decorated and clean with plenty of storage space. Large en suite with a proper power shower, nice selection of toiletries and good quality towels...

At the beginning of a walking (hiking) trip from Rochester to Canterbury, we spent two nights at the Salisbury house and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Rochester is an interesting place and we were delighted with our accommodations – a large comfortable room with a spacious, well-appointed bathroom.
