We are just back from a great weeks break at Burnbank. It was perfect for us. Quiet, beautifully kept lodge, and fantastic scenery. Our lodge was overlooking the river and it was lovely sitting outside watching the changing landscape. The owners, Paul and RIa, were attentive and unobtrusive.. We would thoroughly recommend these lodges for those who want a peaceful... More

My partner and I had such a lovely time at Burnbank Lodges! The setting is beautiful overlooking the river Spean and woodland, it's a very tranquil place to stay. The owners Phil and Ria were so friendly and welcoming and very knowlegable about the the local area. The lodge we had looked out to the woodland and was lovely to... More

Stayed at Burnbank Lodges for a short break during April and we have had a lovely time. Great location, owners were helpful and informative, the lodges had everything we needed. I would recommend Burnbank and we will certainly be going back to explore more of the area.

We stayed at Burnbank Lodges for at week at the end of February and had a fantastic holiday. The lodges are perfect for a quiet break and set in a beautiful location, overlooking the Spean river. The owners were lovely and very helpful and the lodges were very well equipped. Spean Bridge itself is fairly quiet but there are lots... More

Burnbank's main selling point is the emphasis on peace and quiet and they certainly deliver this. The site is pleasant, particularly if you have one of the lodges directly overlooking the river. The tree cover does tend to make the lodges rather dark but we had no problems with the smell of dampness mentioned by a couple of other reviewers.... More

It is not our usual policy to respond to reviews on this site, preferring to rely on potential visitors to interpret what they read and make up their own minds. In your case Dr Griffiths, we have decided to make an exception. When you booked, you made a point of telling us that you had recently sued a different self-catering... More

The grounds are in immaculate order very neat and tidy and well kept. The lodge itself was adequate with everything that you would need for... More

Beautiful lodges in the woods, very peaceful, lovely river frontage with fishing rights. They only take 2 people, so no noisy children, no dreaded football. We sat on the balcony, no midges, wonderful.Made very welcome by Ria and Phill.

This is a great place to stay, the owners are friendly and helpful. A good location for traveling to areas and only 7ish miles to Glen Nevis and ideal for climbing the Ben!!. The log cabin itself does have everything you need plus an area near reception for washing/drying cloths which is handy and extra charge, it cost me £5.... More

We came to the highlands for a fell running holiday in September 2011 and booked a lodge at Burnbank. Ria and Philip were welcoming and friendly, but not at all interfering. The lodges are clean and had everything we needed for self-catering. Having never been to Scotland before, we were pleased to see guides and leaflets in our lodge for... More
