Second visit to the self-catering section. Brilliantly equipped, comfortable and spotless. Hosts couldn't be more accommodating or more pleasant. Ate one evening meal in B&B dining room - great food with wonderful food.

We chose Carters Rest both for its excellent reviews on TA and for its incredible location: essentially as far west as you can get in Great Britain without having to take a ferry. We sadly stayed in this magical B & B for only 2 nights but the magic of its surroundings and the warm and friendly welcome stayed with us ever since! We stayed three nights at Carter's Rest and it was a fantastic experience. We had lovely food and a great room! Steve and Julie were excellent hosts! It is in a beautiful setting and very peaceful. Views from our room were awesome.
