We had a fantastic stay, it was cosy, comfortable and the home cooked food was amazingly good. The area is very beautiful and near to Neist Point lighthouse which you must visit. Di and Julian were really welcoming and helpful to us and our nervous little dog. I hope we can go back again soon.

this place is a true gem - a cosy place in the middle of a beautiful valley. Not big but truly wonderful - the room, the view and the breakfast were all really good, as well as Julian's and Diane's hospitality. Would definitely go back if I'm on the island again!

If you want a remote location away from almost everything this is the area for you and The Byre is in the middle of it. The room is very cozy. the pictures just don't cover it.

Our own self contained living/dining room with a bedroom alcove and bathroom. Quaint, charming and comfortable. Di and Julian were friendly and welcoming and breakfast and dinner were excellent. Take wine. Would like to have stayed another night. Remote and beautiful and one of the most interesting places we have stayed.

The self-contained nature of the Byre, along with an excellent breakfast and low cost make this a great-value B&B on Skye. It's very small so more than a day or so would have you stir-crazy, but it's excellent for a quick visit.

While small, we thought this was a great value focused B&B which was self contained as a guest. You are the only guests there with your own entrance so there was no worry of bothering others. What a unique little place - a cosy room thats more than your average B&B room with a comfy leather sofa, dining table and chairs, TV/DVD player and fabulous views out over the glen - even on a miserable day.
