“Good place for families with young kids”

“Comfortable and suitable”

We spend 8 days there. Good location near to Salzburg, if you go by car. (Bit noisy, if you leave windows open) The restaurant is a bit small and the flies are disturbing. “Quality and good value for money near Salzburg”

Nice surrounding area, near Salzburg, close to the highway, clean location, good breakfast, free parking, very nice outdoor pool and garden. Ask for a comfort room facing the pool. Could be a good idea for the owner to try a heating system for the pool.

Based on some of the reviews, we stayed at the Hotel Gerl, just outside of Salzburg. I would not recommend this hotel in the summer as there was no air conditioning in the rooms and the temp was over 30 degrees celsius. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they all speak perfect English. Guests can enjoy a spacious garden with a lot of nice facilities for kids to have fun. “Friendliest hotel during our Austrian adventure”

After much consultation of Tripadvisor reviews we chose the Hotel Gerl over two others nearby. We stayed at Hotel Gerl for one night as a stopover. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, Some of the decor is a bit dated but the hotel was clean, and the food was good.
