Nice hotel with nicely appointed rooms and a good bar with an excellent breakfast. Bell doesn't work so don't bother with it. Not cheap either. Severely let down by a stag party who were up all night partying in rooms and corridor with slamming doors. When requested the porter did quieten the situation at 4.30am but this was after another... Lovely people and lovely hotel. Good parking and central location for Magherfelt. Fab breakfast and bar. Big bedrooms, warm & cozy on a winters day (snowing outside). Left my husbands electric toothbrush behind, clearly all my fault, slave wife didn't pack his lordships bags properly (must have had MAN look when I checked the bathroom!!) but they are kindly posting... I stayed at the Terrace Hotel in Sept 2012. Sadly due to pain killers I had to pass on the option of occupying a bar stool and experiencing the "craic".... maybe next time! The bedroom was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great and the staff are friendly and helpful.

We stayed on a Saturday night to attend a family function in the town. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable - lovely decor with everything we needed. We had booked an evening meal in the downstairs dining room which was delicious with exceptional service. The only problem with the evening was that we had to leave the hotel... More
