I stayed here with my wife for one night. We were met with a warm welcome. It is a lovely warm and inviting guest house. very clean and comfortable. The full breakfast was ample and came with a huge pot of tea.

I stayed here with my partner and 2 friends. we didn't have rooms on the front so didn't really get any noise problems that other reviewers have mentioned other than hearing a few late night revellers on the Fri night. We stayed 3 nights and really liked it. good size and clean rooms, excellent freshly cooked breakfast of your choice,... More

This is a lovely family-run B&B in the middle of Annan. I stayed four nights in a clean, comfortable and spacious en suite room. It looked out to the front so yes it was a bit noisy at night/ early in the morning as other reviewers have mentioned - but closing the window muffled the noise enough to ignore it.... More

Lovely to unwind when arrived with a back massage - excellent, one of the best I have had. Room lovely and light. We took the advice on the website and ate and retaurant recommended - had booked a few weeks in advance as realised it was popular. Breakfast good but my partner a little disappointed with the full cooked -... More

We booked two rooms on Late Rooms at The Old Rectory as we could get a good deal for a single and double room. It was good value. It is a nice period property but the decor and furniture would not be to everyone's taste. Dave was friendly and helpful when we arrived, carrying our bags and giving us local... More

All we required of a decent B&B, and more. Our host (Dave) was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and breakfasts were excellent, setting us up for the day. Local restaurant Del Amitri was closed on the day of our arrival and fully booked the following day, so we ate at the Queensberry Hotel just around the... More

We had a weekend break voucher we were given as a wedding present and we choose this b&b and we were very happy with our choice. Room was lovely, bed was so comfy, breakfast was fantastic, proprietor was very friendly and location was brilliant. Its a stones throw from the train station - we got the train to Dumfries for... I found this b&b on google as I was doing the end to end cycle ride, found it very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble, Myself and my son found having a leg massage that was done in the B&b an extra bonus as our legs that needed a bit of TLC, I would totally recommend the Old Rectory... More

It is always good to be able to send cyclists off feeling a bit better than when they arrived after a massage. Hope the rest of the ride went fine. Dave More

Very welcoming and freindly service, spotlessly clean, excellent value for money! Also an extremely tolerant proprietor who I constantly called Mike during the whole stay only only to discover after vacating that his name was in fact Dave?!? What a gent he was obviously too polite to correct me! Sorry Dave it will not happen during our next stay! Gary... More
