Our first visit to Skye and to Fearnoch Guest House. The welcome from Rosa and Alan was warm and friendly, they offered us a choice of rooms and made us very welcome. The view from our room was stunning and the bed was extremely comfortable. Rosa cooked a lovely breakfast, even baking her own bread for the toast. Alan was... More

Having just returned from spending a couple of days in Skye and our fifth visit to Fearnoch, I can only conclude that the negative reviews regarding Fearnoch are for a completely different B & B! From the warm welcome from Rosa and Alan with a cup of tea and homemade cake, to the exceptionally comfy beds, from the lovely fresh... More

Having stayed at Fearnoch in the past, I can only say that our experiances of our stay were wonderful and our hosts Rosa and Alan were attentive, friendly and very accommodating. Upon visiting in August as friends, our family were treated to a lovely dinner, warmth and fine whisky that even the Mother in law broke an improving smile, which... More

We arrived at 21.45pm giving a warm hello but the reply was 'shhhh, I've got other guests here'. This was then followed by criticism over the place I had parked the car whilst I tried to ensure that if other guests were to arrive they could fit their car in. 4 sheets of A4 then followed. One each for registration... More

This review is this person's second attempt to launch an attack on us here at Fearnoch. The first review was removed because it contravened tripadvisor's own guidelines. It should never have been printed. This version is not any better. To summarize this person's stay in our home, it was a late booking made by telephone. The only room available was... More

Spent three days @ Fearnoch this July and enjoyed ourselves. Breakfast with fresh fruit, great coffee, homemade bread ...you can't beat it. At first, I was a little concerned about location but after driving the road a few times, it's not a problem. You zip in to Broadford within 10 minutes or less if you drive like a local. We... More

Last month I decided to pay a return visit to the Isle of Skye and without hesitation stayed once again with Rosa & ALan at the Fearnoch B&B where I had previously visited as a solo traveller.some years back. This time my two older teenage children came with me and we were welcomed with open arms. We planned to spend... More

We have stayed at Fearnoch in Torrin on several occasions over the past years. The fact that we are frequent visitors says it all. One could not find a more welcoming and enjoyable B & B. Rosa and Alan are great hosts and always take an active interest in the plans of all guests, ensuring that they get top-notch advice... More

I would not recommend this place to anyone. We did not feel welcomed into this B&B. We were greeted by the owner who asked us to remove our shoes outside the house and to be careful of not scratching the walls. She also scolded my brother so many times- no talking after 10, not to look into the mirror too... More

I will try and address the points raised in the order thay have been raised. This was a family from Malaysia, parents, grown up daughter just qualified from university in Edinburgh and a 9 year old brother. The parents were utterly charming. Their only fault was that the young boy was never corrected or chastized. In my opinion, the boy... More
