I havent had the need to comment on any accommodation before, but my experience here will be with me forever!! Where do I start. The rooms (whole property) is tired, it felt like either no one had stayed in our room or had been serviced for some time. There were dead bugs all through the unit, dust on the glass... More

I don't usually write these sort of things but the experience I had of this motel was pretty horrendous. Firstly on going in to our bedroom my husband asked if that was my sock on the floor! Of course it wasn't. No sockets in the bathroom to plug hairdryer (not available). One mirror - in bathroom face only!!! Not clean... More

Unbelievable $130 a night for a room, motel in bad need of an upgrade. We had a wedding and everything was booked, would have preferred to sleep in car! Broken toilet, spiders and cobwebs in bathroom, grafitti on asbestos ceiling, just filthy??? I couldn't even face them the next morning to complain Photo above must have been taken when motor... Dreadful. Insecure units - anyone could break in, beds that slope into the middle, heavy flat pillows, half the lights don't work, our unit smelled of stale sweat, graffiti on the ceiling, nest of spiders in the bath, old TV with broken remote, no smoke alarm, worn out towels. All this for 130 dollars. This motel hasn't seen a makeover... More

Thanks so much Riverside, you have helped me realise that I must ALWAYS check tripadvisor before booking accomodation. I arrived with my elderly father and young son for the weekend attending a football tournament. OOOOOWHEEEEE! I had no idea places like this existed in NZ! I have stayed in cleaner, nicer places in third world countries for a fraction of... More

After reading some of the recent reviews I was a bit apprehensive about staying here but on arriving the lady in the office was lovely and helpful. She was a bit flusted as they had had a death on staff and she was the chef. But she... More

We nearly turned around and left (should have actually). They had kindly supplied us with a jug of rancid, gelified milk in the fridge for our coffees. The bed was two singles pushed together. My electric blanket didn't even have any socket nearby to plug in. I had to use the iron to press a white shirt but didn't realise... More

We nearly packed up and left after been shown our 'family room". This is the worste place we have ever stayed in our entire lifes! This includes rodent infested Morrocan dumps. Unfortunelty we had no time to move as we were in Cambridge for work. Smelt, dated, freezing, faulty electics, very unfriendly lady at reception and driveway and parking was... More
