We stayed at the Hotel-Garni Jakober in Vorderlanersbach in the Zillertal region for a weeks skiing holiday in March 2012.
The hotel is in just about the best position in the village, next to the SPAR store and just 1 minute's walk to the bus stop for the Hintertux glacier, and a short 3-5 minute walk to the Raskogel ski...

We've stayed only 1 night in this lovely hotel - would definitely return in the future.
The village is wonderful - hotel is close to everything (skibus, restaurant, skilift - this one working in winter only i guess); rooms were okaysh; we loved ours but wouldn't fell in love with the other one which my parents got (80's style furniture...
