The chateau is beautiful, and I think we were the only ones there, so we had the place to ourselves (literally). The staff works 8-5pm, so don't expect service in the middle of the night (or even in the evening). We just returned from a weekend at the chateau and we will certainly be coming back. The 'chateau' feeling already starts at the front of the stairs as two huge concrete lions await you while you walk towards the reception. We stayed at the Chateau Lexhy on 3rd May 2007. Apart from being pretty tricky to find (due to the usual, signposted route being temporailty closed), we arrived late evening to a very warm welcome from Luke, the owner.
