Booked Court view room for week early October. Allocated room 14 .... Court view consisted of Roof, Fire Escape and ancillary piping! Room adequate, quite modern in style but cramped. In need of some repair/refurbishment, staff were super, pleasant and welcoming. Middlekirke however 'closed!' 5 day Tram pass was gift at 15Euros for all journeys.

We had travelled 500 miles & wanted to find a last stop before Calais. Just happened to find a parking space outside the Excelsior Hotel, how lucky were we? They didn't have a room at the front so we had a double room (no 84) at the back for 75 euros including breakfast. Very clean & well decorated, lovely bed,...

Room 53 with a non-view (Euro 75 per night): lovely bed with a room around it, just about enough space to move in. The shower room, was fine, although the toilet was a little cramped, even for some one as small as me. Room cleaned daily with towels changed also. Free internet access in each room.

I stayed at this hotel and must say beds were soft which I found very comfy, bathroom excellent with terrific shower (exactly as the photo's on booking.com show) good TV channels (incl Paramount Comedy!!!) and hotel location great.
We booked 2 rooms and our main concern with the hotel was one room's windows didn't shut properly and the other room...
