Location to die for.Outside bar/dining area second to none.Drinks large and reasonably priced. Nice pool area. We didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment. We stayed as a party of 6 in 3 rooms. Booked through hotels.com we got 2 rooms with balconies with sea and pool views. Booked cheaper through a french site for 1 room and got no... More

We stayed with our family of 4 for a full week; we liked the connecting door between the rooms; however the bathroom was terrible (see photo). The price wasmuch too high for the kind of room you get; breakfast was chaotic, messy; not enough staff to keep up with the supply of plates, breads, cleaning of tables, etc; the orange... More

Pro: Big comfortable rooms, wonderful view. Fantastic surfing beaches right outside your window. Spotlessly clean, pleasant decor and fittings with amusing wildlife theme (but not overblown). Decent breakfast and comfortable terrace outside bar. Staff were attentive and helpful. Free wifi throughout the hotel for guests (including this should now be a basic provision for all hotels, like bedsheets and pillows)... More

The hotel could not have a better location, being right on the beach at Capbreton. The staff were very friendly and helpful (except for an air conditioning issue outlined below). Our room was large, clean and well equipped. Additionally, we had a nice view of the beach. An adequate breakfast was also included in the price of the room. Our... More

Location is very good, next to a nice family beach. Free parking, free wifi in the lounge area. The terrace is a nice place to chill and watch the world go by! They advertise an indoor heated pool, but you have to pay to use it. The rooms are nice and spacious, but I think that is because it used... More

This hotel is in a very good position right adjacent to the beach. We had an excellent but expensive room with a balcony overlooking the beach with a fantastic view towards Biarritz. It is a bit like a very good Novotel in design and standards. The restaurant was good. Very busy area as was to be expected in late August.... More

Baya Hotel is right on the Atlantic Ocean. Clean, smart and gloriously airconditioned rooms provide the perfect amosphere for a refreshing sleep. The restaurant is particularlly good, small menu, but really good. Bar is good, service a little slow at times, but you can sit out on the deck and order great drinks overlooking the ocean, Front of house staff... More

Stayed here while on a 2 week tour around France/Spain. We only stayed for one night, but wished we would have booked it for more. The town is a cute surfer town, small, and people are very friendly. There were great waves, but we couldn't rent boards because the busy season had just ended and the rental shops were closed... More

Hotel Baya has an excellent location, literally right on the sea front. We were here towards the end of high season so the hotel was reasonably quite and we got a good rate. Hotel is clean and to the normal french standard - a clean, basic room but could do with a touch of paint in parts. Overall great value... More
