The hotel d'Orange is special because it is a real, hands-on family-run hotel - and it shows. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly staff. The rooms were clean and there was always hot water for showers even when 20 tired ramblers returned after a long day in the mountains. The food was delicious, varied and often typically Sicillian.

had a 4 day break from malta . staff realy Helpfull at all times will book again as it was so central . the town is with walkibg distance, and loved everything about the hotel and we travel quite a lot very good value and the owners were always helpfull thanks a lot to the staff

I had requested gluten free and the staff bent over backwards to help. All the family very friendly, food excellent, and great as a base for a walking group. Nice little roof-top pool. Would happily recommend.

The location is a great base for visiting the nearby gorge and traditional mountain top villages. Rooms a good size. Asked for extra pillows & they came at once. Plenty of hot water & loads of towels. Fridge. Staff always friendly & helpful. Food excellent.

the hotel is situated in a noisy street. the entrance is dirty en very dark, not a grat welcome. he rooms are ok. the restaurant is terrible. the darkness of this room is a problem,so is the cold temperature.

We were really looked after, the transport helped with linear walks & the hospitality at the hotel more than makes up for slightly dated decor. Ramblers have developed a very special arrangement with the owners and it really makes the visit very special.

Great service and delicious dinners made this a very good experience. Anything amiss with the room or ensuite bathroom, once pointed out, was fixed, perfectly, same day. A family-run hotel the service couldn't have been better and the four-course dinners were absolutely delicious, especially the vegetables (and I am not a vegetarian).
