We are booked for end of June and are very concerned about the building work. Thomsons will not go to look at the hotel! Agent! No reassurance that the work will be finished by the time we stay. Booked 09.05 - 23.05.2012 to be found that we had been transferred to Sol Ibiza as the Don Carlos hotel is gutted and currently undergoing total refurbishment. we have just been informed by Thomsons our room is over booked.we booked a suite room in January and now have been downgraded to a twin garden room. why did they take our booking knowing there was no suites available will not trust thomsons again. Jean Swansea

It appears we are in a long queue of dissatisfied customers. We two booked a suite in this hotel in January for a special 60th birthdayonly to be told on the 14th of this month that there was no suites available and had to be downgraded to a twin room with garden view, We to got our upgrade money back...
