We stayed here for just one night, our seaview room was excellent, with nice tub chairs, a comfy bed, TV, and safe etc. The bathroom was large and well appointed with slippers and bath robes. A nice touch of banana, mojo sauce, and a glass of local liquer on arrival in our room. We had dinner from a superb menu...

For a relaxing break the Parador is very well located in Brena Baja on the west of the island within 15 minutes drive from Santa Cruz and the airport and is set in beautiful gardens.
There is a local bus service from a bus stop at the bottom of the drive but we found that a hire car was essential...

We have stayed in many Paradors on mainland Spain and we chose to stay here as part of a packaged walking holiday because of our previous experience in Paradors. Firstly this is a fairly modern Parador and although it was built in a traditional style it does not have the wow factor of many other Paradors. Secondly, we were in...

We have had a recent stay in this Parador at Santa Cruz.- La Palma. Unlike many of the Paradors it is a modern purpose built hotel with the bedrooms in three blocks, all with superb far sea views . If we hadn't booked with a tour company we would have requested a superior room, which are larger and better appointed....

We followed the advice of Gill Charlton in the Saturday Telegraph newspaper and stayed here for a week's walking holiday in February; it was an excellent choice. La Palma is a little-visited Canary Islands because of its lack of beaches and tourist infrastructure: but this makes it all the more attractive to us, and also very cheap: only one car...

I find this Parador, very good in general. The location is good in terms of landscape and views, but not so good, in terms of distance from the city center (about 7 km). But the concept of Parador, is out side city centers.
I remember that I didn`t reserve a car rental service, before I get there, and when I...

Such a shame we only had one night - I would have happily stayed for a week. The peace and quiet up on the hillside where the Parador is found is totally undisturbed. There is no annoying music in the bar when you have a drink on the terrace overlooking the sea and Santa Cruz. There is no "entertainment" either...

Without resorting to cliches, it is hard to fault this most comfortable hotel on La Palma. No one pretends that this is a five-star glitzy destination but if you want a quiet place to escape to from the northern winter, this is a very good choice. It is most reasonably priced, with breakfast for two thrown in. Paradors are great...

The service at this Parador is excellent, both at the front desk and at the restaurant, which made us feel welcomed from a very beginning.
The Parador is in the outskirst of Santa Cruz, and therefore you will need definately a car to move around. However, there is barely some traffic on the island, and therefore you will not have...
