Hello. We went there for the first time this weekend - and it looks lovely inside - however the land lady was sooooooooo rude - ignorant and unfriendly --- even to her own staff! Very expensive and poor service! Don't do it - there's a better pub up the road.

I only stayed one night but will definitely stay here again when in the area. My room was pleasantly decorated, the bed was very comfy and the shower room was a good size. The in-room selection of toiletries and teas was excellent and the wifi was free and easy to access.

I have visited The Saff several times for lunch. The food is excellent & good portions. I defy anyone to leave here hungry. The staff are very friendly & helpful. The owner is rightly proud of the traditional pub/ hotel

Very friendly welcome and hospitable host and all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble which is rare these days! Accommodation was lovely, decor stylish but also very clean. Great location for walking and to visit Derbyshire's attractions. Will definitely go back.
