Clean room was upgraded on arrival. Dinner ok reasonable service. Went to bed in upgraded room and felt like I was in next doors shower! Staying 2 more nights hope they shower late in mornings! If not raining room would have had a nice view down river.

The location on the water is beautiful, although we needed a taxi from and back the station. The bus doesn't run on a Sunday. The restaurant is average for lunch and glad we didn't spend a tenner each on a breakfast included price. Had a couple of business meals, the chef is remarkable, was very impressed with the quality of food and the service. It has lovely views of the river. The hotel provides free wifi and free parking. Recommended.

Stayed here 2 nights at beginning of May 2013. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Double bed was only 4'6" (we're used to a 6' wide one). Although it was very comfortable, on the 2nd night we swopped rooms with son who had a twin room. We kept the window open all night but it was perfectly quiet.
