Uniquely and unexpectedly this delightful location was my highlight stay during my holiday to Scotland. Booking the location, it appeared close to many different locations and offered a stay away from the typical tourist traps, but upon arrival it proved to be much more. The views are outstanding with 360 degrees of almost untouched Scotland highland wilderness that was both... More

The Room we had was very average(room 23), a bit out-dated but served its purpose- somewhere to sleep to break up our journey. The food was fine, nothing fancy but enjoyable enough, but wouldn't want to stay there on a more special occasion. The views are lovely which made the stay more pleasant and the staff were friendly. All in... More

The hospitality & friendly manner of David and his team combined with the remote country location made our overnight stay a night to remember. The rooms are large , meals were very good and the morning views magnificent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this family run hotel and hope to return soon. Cathy & Peter Bentleigh Australia

Thoroughly average hotel which could do with updating or refit.

Beautiful, very quaint family run business. Furnishings are old looking but this adds to the absolute charm. Cosy fireplaces where you are welcome to just sit and totally relax. Well stocked bar. Best meal we had- home made vegetable soup was delicious and all servings were very generous. Haggis ceremony with the bagpipes adds a lovely touch. Our room was... More

Loved my stay at Laggan Country Hotel. Family run hotel that was definitely one of the highlights of walking the East Highland Way, the staff went out of their way to accommodate us and even provided transport, couldn't have been more helpful. This is the place to stay for views, good food, friendly atmosphere, and a great base for all... More

We stayed at Laggan Country Hotel last year with Insight Tours and were delighted with our room which was located under the pointed tower. The bedroom was circular and quite roomy as we also had a separate sitting room with lounge chairs instead of everything in the one room..The haggis was piped in and we had "Ode to the Haggis"... We were delighted when we arrived at this small family run countryside hotel in the Scottish Highlands. It was like being welcomed into someone's home. We loved the quaint old fashioned touches right throughout. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a Scottish highlight dinner with bagpipes. All meals were delicious. We had... More
