Not being a stranger to Newtonmore..And that of the Glen Hotel-even though I have never stayed in the hotel..I have had plenty of meals and beer over the years..Yes great village in general..very nice food in the Glen..good choice of drinks..very good and attentive staff..More than worth a visit

Stayed in March 2012 for one night en route to Ullapool. Small room but clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable.Good meal in the bar in the evening, excellent breakfast, and it came to £45 all up. I doubt I have ever had a deal quite as good as that.

Excellent hotel with good food at excellent prices, especially meal for 2 deals. Staff very helpful and spotlessly clean facilities. Booked through Late Rooms and was not disappointed. In an area where there are great walks and local train to surrounding towns and cities. I can recommend this to everyone. Book in and enjoy the hospitality.

This is a very comfortable quality hotel in a good location at the south end of the village. The building itself is very pleasing on the eye, and is typical in appearance of the greystone villas in this area.
