Jackie and Mike were the perfect hosts on our two night stay in their fabulous guest house in June. There breakfasts were superb especially Jackies eggs benedict. Our four poster room was huge and very well appointed with windows to three sides, and a spotless bathroom. In all a marvellous stay, I will recommend Ard Na Coille to everyone.

By far the best Hotel I have stayed in. Faultless in cleanliness, the welcome was warm and friendly and the room was simply stunning. Nothing was too much trouble and the facilities provided were outstanding. I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting the area. Food was 100% perfect!

Stayed here for 4 nights in May whilst hill walking and enjoying the whole of the Cairngorms. Lovely B&B just on the border of Newtonmore, but within walking distance of pubs/restaurants in town. Also, for hikers, there is direct access to the "Wildcat Trail" which gives beautiful views of the hills and River Spey. Highly recommend this, even if one... More

I stayed at the Ard-na Coille Guest House last week with my sister and we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was beautiful, with stunning views from all windows (and even from the the bathroom!). It was spotless and there were some great touches - really nice coffee/tea making facilities in room, a few chocolates and a small fridge... the... More

We visited Ard Na Coille guest house which is hosted by Jackie and Mike. We were met by Robby their Old English Sheepdog who is simply gorgeous and not a word of bidding in him (an enthusiastic one year old). The guest house has that warm and lived in feeling. It is beautifully furnished and quite, quite spotless. The bedroom... More

We just spent one night on a stop over of our ten day tour of Scotland at this wonderful bed and breakfast. The hostess Jacquie met us at the door and was very gracious and welcoming. This guest house has everything going for it, beautiful views, the best breakfast on our tour of Scotland served by Mike, lovely room, a... More

This was our second stop at a Highland B&B so we didn't know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised to find an elegantly appointed guest house run by our new best friend who's a gourmet cook. The views from the room are great (see attached) and the area is lovely. There are pubs in Newtonmore and Kingussie to visit,... More

I would highly recommend this place to stay. We had a weekend here at the start of may and it was lovely. Great views. Such a warm welcome from Jaquie and Mike. We were made to feel very welcome. I loved the small touches like the strawberries on arrival and the chocolates beside the bed and the robes in the... More

We would recommend Ard-na-Coille guest house without hesitation. It is spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable. Jacquie and Mike are very warm, welcoming hosts and very friendly. Breakfast is an absolute treat - everything cooked to perfection and of a very high quality. The mountain views from all the rooms are delightful. The house is in an elevated position so... More
