I recently stayed at this lodge, where i had originally planned to spend six nights. After two nights i decided to leave. The spot is absolutely beautiful and staff friendly however they charge a lot more money for offering quality and service levels that you would find in lodges nearby. The food was average, the small pool full of insects.... More

We had a great stay!! Very nice smiling staff!! Great food!! Our stay was very relaxing and I highly recommend it for honeymooners! The bandas are comfortable and made of local materials. A walk through the coconut trees (which are everywhere around the lodge) is great, and the ground are well kept. We were lucky to have beautiful sunrises and... More

Ushongo beach is still a little secret. It is a wild white sandy beach. Emayani lodges is a little bit remote from the other hotel and you feel like Robinson crusoe. The lodges look simple from outside but are in fact nice furnished, clean, big and very comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpfull. The management is very professionnal... More

Emayani Beach Lodge is situated on a beautiful sandy beach near the small fishing village of Ushongo. As yet this area is very unspoilt with only a handful of places to stay, and after reading the reviews we booked five nights at Emayani , feeling that it offered a good mid -range option. Once we arrived we knew we had... More

If you want to escape, kick back, leave your Blackberry/computer off a few days relax on a lovely beach, rustic thached huts, and super meals- this is it! Quite a hike getting there but worth it. The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive. The owners and manager couldn't be nicer. The individual units are roomy, open very "South Pacific"... More

Firstly I would like to add that the review below is completely exaggerated!! Emayani is the perfect place to spend your holiday!! The value for money is excellent; the food is great, the rooms are comfortable, the ocean was beautiful (The water is only murky with the southern current...not often apparently). Yannick was so gracious and the staff were fantastic!!... More

My wife and I had originally planned to stay at this lodge for 10 days, although we left after one night. For the $160 per night cost, this was not good value. The pool was out of order and had been for some time. Due to a heavy rain, the beach was very dirty and the water was filthy. The... More
