We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was clean, staff was friendly and we loved the view. It was also a short walk to the small downtown area where the restaurants/shops are. The walk is downhill (which means uphill on the way back) so keep that in mind!

I agree with another reviewer that considering its location, we liked this hotel within walking distance of town (albeit hilly) but close to a couple of nice restaurants. The hotel is attractively landscaped and designed, with nice but not luxurious rooms. They were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ample and tasty.

Very good service and polite staff - we had a great time in Monteverde. The Hotel is located in a very nice and serene landscape. Our room was clean and quite large. Hotel Cipreses Monteverde can definitely be recommended.

Very close to downtown, Very good food in the cafeteria the staff in polite the rooms and bathrooms are large and i had hot water. I was hosted in September room 21. I really recommend my experience was great. Remember is a village so do not expect to have the convenience of the city. As a tourist Loved everything.
