While we thought our hotel would be in Sorrento, we found ourselves very pleasantly surprised to be on the outskirts in the very lovely hilltop town of Sant' Agata sui due Golfi, which we found, for us, to be much more preferable than Sorrento itself. The small town had everything to offer: beautiful hotel, fabulous views, wonderful restaurants and church... More

We were there for 4-5 days. We did have to ask for an upgrade even though when we booked the room we asked for a room with a view. The room we got was really big, bath tub(most showers in Italy and very small), balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains. The first bus ride from Sorrento was confusing.... More

My wife and I (both well under 50) booked through Thomson and knew this was a 3 star hotel when we chose it. In the Cittalia brochure the same hotel is shown as a 4 star which it definately is not. We met the couple who had their honeymoon here between 23 and 30 September and really felt for them.... More

Firstly if you are over 50 you will love this place and get treated very well! However for those of you well under 50 like myself and husband this place is awful! We went to this hotel on our honeymoon 23rd - 30th Sept, after high recommendations from first choice and unlike the last reviewers on their honeymoon we were... More

This four-star hotel is located up the mountain from Sorrento and away from the city by about 10 minutes by shuttle-bus. The hotel is pretty good if you do not want to spend all of your time in town. The hotel has a nice pool, to enjoy, but the water is quite cold. Also, the hotel charges EUR 7 or... More

Stayed at the hotel from 7th to 14th Sept 2011. Really helpful staff especially in the Resturant, where we were treated with the utmost courtesy. Yes we were asked to give a preference for dinner sittings BUT this was not adhered to at all. Luigui (head waiter) was prompt with the menu and wine list which arrived promptly after ordering.... I wouldn't normally write a report about a hotel but I'm so disgusted with the so called complimentary bus service from the hotel to Sorrento (which is 7km's away!) The bus service was restricted to 4 times during the day and you had to book in advance, which isnt ideal when you are on holiday! However the 'free' evening bus... More

Hotel Iaccarino sits proudly on the Nastro Verde, just below Sant'Agata, some 3 km above Sorrento. Its layout is slightly eccentric, seemingly put together from more than three separate buildings on a number of levels. This may add to the individual charm of the place, though it can make finding the reception or dining room a challenge on day one.... More

I read review before I went and we booked late so not surprised to get the box room overlooking someones courtyard. Room very shabby with smell of drains. They have two sitting for dinner and ask you to be prompt and then leave you sat there for half hour with no drinks and no menu. very badly managed and staff... More

My friends and I loved it here! We ended up extending our stay and had a wonderful time. The hotel offers a bunch of excursions to the surrounding islands, so you can just book a ticket the night before and spend the next day in Capri, or Almafi and have the transportation, etc. all taken care of. The staff was... More
