Beautiful place, amazing sightseeing opportunities, stylish, spacious, bright hotel, with very large amounts of space by the pools, the vast, incredible beach. Rather quiet part of Roquetas, undeveloped land next to the hotel and channel storm (dried), but do not bother. In the distance about a kilometer water park, shopping center, a few hundred meters to the bus stop. N... More

We had several items go missing from the room. The hotel management just shrugged their shoulders and said there was nothing they could do. On our return we complained through Hotelympia and they took up the complaint on our behalf, with the same result from the hotel. Our room had a huge stain on the ceiling where there had been... Neither customer services nor the hotel managment where,at any stage ,informed of this supposed missing items, nothing in our records either. Every rooms is checked for both cleanlliness and equipment previous to alocation. If the room was in such a state, why the guest did not request a room change? The hotel Gym is fully equipped having been totally renewed recently. More

Absolutely loved our ten days AI at the Colonial. Accomodation excellent, food great, pool a massive attraction and staff fabulous. Beach a little disappointing but in all other respects a wonderful place to unwind and take the rays. Have just read earlier reviews and am amazed. As an experienced All Inclusive holiday maker I reckon this hotel provides the widest... More

The hotel was very impressive to look at and the reception/bar area were lovely. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were clean as were the bathrooms. We had fantastic views to the ocean from our room. The entertainment was all in Spanish and was really focused upon children, however there was pool aerobics for all ages every morning... More

Me, my parents and my friend ended up here on an allocation on arrival via airtours a few years back. Let me stress..it is not as bad as the reviews make out, but airtours made a c*ck up introducing this as a family resort to british families. To the spanish, this is a saga type holiday resort, with lots of... More

Me, my wife and 2 children, with 9 and 3 years old, we stayed at the hotel, from 15 to 23 August, in HFB. The hotel is beautifull and has a fantastic pool area. The service is a 3+ star. The food is good for an hotel. All the staff was excellent. The entertaiment for adults and kids is not... More

We have just returned from a two week break in this resort, overall, it was very disappointing. This hotel is 4km out of the resort centre, therefore had to take a taxi every eving which cost 8 euro's there and back. Even though we were half board, we ate out as the food was disgusting, tastless and mainly catered for... More

The hotel is very poorly run with less than helpful staff. The restaurant serves poor quality food in a dark dingy canteen. If you want to go out for food be prepared for a long walk, the hotel is not in a good location The lifts break down all the time, when this happened to us the emergency alarm was... More

On arrival Hotel looked ok from the outside. Bar and reception area looked basic. Room was ok but view from balcony was that of a building site. Restaurant resembled a works canteen if that's not an insult to works canteens. Food was poor. After 4 days we moved out to the Playa Sol
