Went to Heskin Farm for overnight stay after family function. Everything spot on, friendly welcome, lovely surroundings (on going construction work in surrounds but no problem), hosts could not be bettered, bedrooms well appointed and comfortable,breakfast sublime and set me up for the rest of the day. What more could anyone want.

Although I only stayed one night it was a great one. The room was ideal for my needs with en-suite facilities . Hairdryer, radiator, tv, radio alarm clock. Only a 10 minute walk to the village center. A delicious cooked breakfast and plenty of cereal to choose from. I'll be back

We stayed in the self catered 1 bed apt which the owners son lived in but had just gone to Australia. A comfortable, well equipped home feeling accommodation. Breakfast was taken in the main house and at first I wasn't sure about sharing a table with other guests but it wasn't a problem. Sorry cannot remember the owners names :(... More

The quality of service was out standing they even organized a table at a local restaurant for the two of us. We found the room and facilities excellent and the breakfast was lovely. Les and Charlotte went out of there way to help us.Highly recommend a visit.

Came here very last minute as a stopover for the Southport Airshow on the Saturday night, 8th September, so I could attend both days. We ( family of 5) stayed in the mezzanine flat which was excellent value for money, full kitchen with tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, washer/dryer etc. Large bathroom, dining table and flatscreen tv with 3 piece suite.
