We stayed in Palmas del Mar this past February as we have for several years. The changes were disappointing and frustrating to say the least. First it is becoming a resort for "locals," people who are from Puerto Rico are welcome at all times. People from outside PR, definitely not as much. This rating is strictly for the golf and... More

I am sorry to hear about your disappointment while visiting the resort. Unfortunately, this is the Trip Advisor page for one of the management companies that could have provided you with the discounts you speak about. Had you booked through the Resort Management Group, we could have made these arrangements for you. When you book through VRBO, that is what... More

We stayed in Palmas Del Mar which is a gated community with amazing amenities. We stayed in the Marbella Club which is gorgeous! Our owner was John Wells, who is one of the best owners we have ever rented from in all of our travels. (Homeaway #966450/VRBO#397236) It is a 2 bedroom, 3 bath condo that has ocean front views... Palmas Del Mar is the best kept secret in the world! If you have a chance to go - GO! BEAUTIFUL Beaches, restaurants, golf, tennis, great lush green areas, great weather, and the people are so friendly. Food, fun and great times are always waiting for you at Palmas. Rent a private villa and a golf cart and you are... More

The beaches are beautiful and the resort is immaculately maintained. We rented a two bedroom condo in the Crescent Beach community (probably 15 very distinctive communities + a Wyndham hotel within the greater 1000 acre Palmas resort). We loved the condo and the pools. We loved the access to the beach club, tennis club, and golf club. We liked the... More

I stayed here with three families in February 2012. We had a really nice trip, and it was a very quiet area and neighborhood. We stayed in a house here that had a golf cart to get around to the local plaza where there were restaurants and a market. But, we ended up using the local town stores for groceries,... More

I've been visiting Palmas Del Mar at least once a year since I was an infant and so this place is like a second home. There are so many things that I love about Palmas. It's located on 2000+ acres of land and has its own beach. It's probably one of the safest places on the island and has a... More

We stayed in Palmas in the beginning of November and it was very nice. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and it is very quiet. The beach club is very nice, but quiet expensive considering that the majority of it was closed. (Probably because it was the low season) We rented a golf cart which was a great idea, but the... I stayed here with my family in May 2010. We had a really nice trip, though I thought there would be a little more going on. We stayed in a house here and groceries and restaurants, while a short golf cart ride away, were overpriced. Beautiful area, but I think I'll be staying in San Juan for my next trip.

Stayed a week here once again and am looking forward to another visit. The beach is a very short walk away, and the pool is very nice. The rooms are clean and quite modern, and we encountered no problems at all. The front desk clerk (?Gina?) went far above and beyond to get us the best reservations for a night... More

You first enter the property going thru very nice Condos and Apartments....its in its own town sort of...gated community....gorgeous golf course as you drive thru til you get to the end of the road where the Sheraton Palmas Del Mar Resort is located. You dont have to leave the resort if you dont want to....they have everything in the "town"... More
