One of the best accommodations we've ever stayed in, the Hotel Boskinac is remote and hard to find out in the countryside away from even tiny Novalja. Welcoming hosts, a gorgeous setting, the biggest hotel room of our long traveling lives with a bed to match, and fine drinks on a stone terrace - close to heaven. The restaurant is... More

Recent stay was prompted by Anthony Bourdain's televised visit in which he raved about the food. The hotel is quite pleasant and in a pretty area, convenient by car to explore the island. However, we did not have the fine experience Bourdain described; the food bordered on mediocre and more than half of the items on the menu were unavailable.

We stayed at hotel Boskinac with a large group of our family and friends while we explored Pag Island. The hotel is beautiful and a perfect place to relax away from the city. The combination of pool time, the wine cellar and relaxing in the outdoor cabana was just what we were looking for. We had great food in their... More

My cousin and i were going to Zrce for a wild boys weekend but we are a bit older (35) so as much as we wanted to party with all the younger people on zrce we didn't want to be surrounded with the madness 24/7. Boskinac was the absolute perfect alternative. It's situated in the middle on a farm with... More

It was the first time I came in Croatia. I loved the kindness of people here and in this hotel it was just perfect. Only few things were a little bit sad like not having a very good wifi connection in the rooms (perfect in the lobby however), not having some foreign newspapers... but it is essential ? The staff... For the whole duration of my stay at this place I was made to feel very special. Staff have struck a perfect balance of being there for you all the time without being overbearing. For instance while at the pool during the day I would sit there for a few hours listening to nothing but crickets with my partner to... More

Before I start, this is a magnificent hotel, restaurant, winery and destination! The staff are exceptional too! But, as I said the devil in the details. Our beautiful room had creaky wooden floors, no plugs in the basins, no sound in the radio/music system, and surprisingly enough NO WINE in the rooms bar! Flies were everywhere in the restaurant, so... More

This hotel is in a beautiful setting and the rooms were enormous and comfortable. However, we soon learned that the water comes from a well that is very salty, making the water undrinkable. That would be okay, if bottled water were provided in the rooms, but it was not. Further, when advised at dinner that the tap water was undrinkable,... More

In the case you’re looking for profound indulgement this is a place to visit. Unique mix of sea-side stone villa ambience, palatable domestic wines and excellent cuisine orchestrated by ever present but non intruding service, guarantees memorable time. Start with plate of local cheese (“pashki”) and prosciutto. Do not hurry. Allow taste to infuse receptors. Then fish. Staff recommendations are... More
