About 8 years ago I worked as a paddling guide on the Lahn River which flows through Runkel. Most of the trips involved camping...but occasionally patrons would splurge. Eating here was a treat, especially after a tough day of paddling. The fare German cuisine...but the cliffside setting above Lahn makes this location stand out.
