I stayed in this hotel with a coleague whilst attending a tradeshon in Hannover, around 50km away, there were no hotels that were resonably priced in Hannover so we decided to go somewhere outside. High on the Schaumburg outside Rinteln this hotel offers excellent cuisine and clean and comfortable lodging for the hiker or traveler who's looking for someting special. Across the road is the gate to the Schaumburg Castle and thousands of acres of forest surround.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The location was great, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Food was also very good. Great value for money! I would definitely go back! The only - would be that not all the staff was able to speak good English.
