Wonderful place to get away from the high traffic tourist areas. Very friendly and quaint town. Walks through town and along the Moselle are very enjoyable. The food and wine were wonderful: breakfasts with a wide variety of foods. You should definitely make a point of trying Marta's dinners. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable---excellent breakfast. If you eat your evening meal there you have to order the day before so they can make certain everything you want is fresh---and they only prepare meals for their guest(s)---it is a real treat. Great hospitality.

This charming little hotel was a welcome site after touring through the Mosel River area. It was outside the large town of Cochem so was very easy to find, parking was across the street and the couple running it were of tremendous help.

We stayed four nights at Haus Swazenberg in September. We had a very large room and bathroom that were spotlessly clean.
