Very good Spa hotel. We do our business trip to Valpolicella. I like quite much ancient garden, that is possible to sit and drink a glass of wine. Hotel belongs to Tommasi family that is wine producer. In case of wine - for me they are to big - that is possible to lost point of wine. In case You... More

Stayed at VQP with my wife and a friend in a duplex room for 3 nights in December during our wine tour in the Valpolicella region. The decor of the room was classic if a bit dated but everything was clean and well appointed. Air-con was not an issue as the weather was cool. Can bring up the room lighting... More

We chose Villa Quaranta as we wanted to stay close to Verona, but not inside the city center. Also we were hoping for a hotel with some modern amenities and the gym, pools, and onsite restaurants seemed appealing. If I had to do it over I would have stayed closer to Verona. On the plus side, the property grounds are... More

On our (car) trip around Europe we decided rather late to stay a night in the Valpolicella district. WE researched towns and hotels and it was actually quite difficult to get a full overview. We wanted a 3+ hotel and by the time we did our booking a lot of hotels were full since it was in the middle of... More

This hotel has a dual face, the old and beautiful Villa Quaranta on the one hand and the hyper modern thalasso - business centre on the other hand. It doesn't really harm, but it surprises you when you arrive and don't expect it. The rooms ( in the old part ) are beautiful and very comfortable, breakfast is really good... More

We tried very hard to come up with some positives about this hotel. It sits in some lovely grounds . . . and that's about it. It seemed as though they were trying to be high-end and posh, but I'm afraid we were not impressed. Our room might have been pleasant in the 1960's, but it was old and dated... More

Stayed here in the Summer of 09 and it was a gorgeous spot. The hotel sits on lots of land, has two pools, a spa centre, business centre, and the hotel itself has been beautifully renovated with the old villa still retaining lots of its features. My favourite part was the old courtyard and chapel - charming and tiny, and... More

This is a beautiful and well-maintained place, very clean and inviting (incl. pool area - attn. bathing caps required). Close to Verona, but unfortunately it is not too close to Lake Garda. Hotel shuttle to Arena di Verona if you want to go to the shows Very good breakfast selection and friendly service in a nice atmosphere. Free indoor parking.... More

I have to endorse most of the previous comments. This is a lovely old place but it is in a (quiet) industrial zone and the bus service is poor - there is no shuttle to anywhere. It is now mainly a conference hotel but this means there are good spa facilities (we were told), though the outdoor pool was still... More

We just come back from a 2 day stay at the hotel. At the momnet they have a building site there, where they build a new 4 storey builing. You can´t open the windows in all rooms facing the builing site, because the noise starts at 7 am until 6 pm. It was disappointing that the swimming pool opens at... More
