This hotel has the official qualification of 4 stars but doesn't full fill this. The location is good on the egde of the village Deurne with a big parking. The building is an old monastery (built in 1954) that is renovated to a hotel in 2004. The reception is very good and friendly. The room is not at all a... More

A bit different because the hotel used to be a seminary. It is in the middle of some fields so it is very quiet. The area around the hotel is quite pretty and very green. There is a restaurant next to the hotel where you can sit outside and have a good meal or some typical Dutch 'bitterballen'. The personnel... More

great place to stay - can walk into Deurne itself in about 20 to 30 minutes - worth doing seeing the beautiful church on the square and the "used to be" Post Office.

The hotel looks and feels very relaxing and exclusive. It is situated in a wonderful green area. It has a beautiful inner garden, wonderful restaurant (I have to stress on this - great food and great service in the restaurant!)... and horrible rooms! The beds are two single beds put together instead of one double... and they drift apart to... More

Stayed at this hotel as part of a wedding group. The room was spacious, clean, and modern. Reception was friendly and very helpful. Area around the hotel itself is nice, but lends itself more to a retreat than a holiday because it is quite suburban.

A good hotel to stay when you are passing through. The hotel is on the outskirts of a small town in a very quiet location. The place is spotless and reception staff very friendly and efficient. We had a room on the first floor, sparse like you would expect in an old monastery, but it had everything we needed, including... More

Stayed here for about 5 days, while my husband attended a conference. I was most apprehensive after reading the other tripadvisor reviews. As HFP52 indicated, and was our experience, we were given a small room with a small high window which resembled a Monk's Cell, or even a coffin.thanks to their review, we also asked for a change in rooms... I stayed here with my wife for five days while attending a conference at the hotel. Initially I was struck by the starkness of the white walls and ceilings in the hallways and rooms. The hotel was once a seminary and still has a functioning chapel that is also often used for receptions. We had our conference banquet in the... More

The first room we were allocated was very sparse, twin beds, and did not have a good 'feel' about it. However, we asked if we could change the room, and we were then given a very nice room at the front of the hotel (room 110). Although you could see the car park, it was still a pleasant view. There... More
