Great location, lovely views. However the hotel does look a bit of a 80's throwback! Indonesian restaurant on site okay, but not fantastic. Breakfast good.

We stayed at the Newport over the Easter week end, really a place to recommend. The rooms are extremely confortable, staff are very helpful and both restaurants are excellent. We will certainly be back

Staying here at the end of the winter was good. The room had a very tranquil view on the lake (which used to part of a sea). The room was clean and practical. Room decoration is a bit sterile.
