I paid around 65 euro's for 2 nights in a 6-bed-dorm, which is way too much for the quality you get. Imagine: 6 people staying in this dorm, each paying 32 euro's a night, making it 192 euro (?!) per room per night. The room itself is rather small. Room is pretty comfortable, clean and easy to reach. It was in low season; there still were many people (mostly families) staying there. You'd better check or confirm your room in advance, because you could be given a wrong room that you ask for. You can also rent bike there, it is not so easy to find your bike in... More

The hostel is located in Den Burg, the largest village on Texel Island. That makes it easy to get to from the ferry, and shops are nearby.
