“Very good hotel”

Saray Hotel is a very good place to stay in Edirne. It is cheap, spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly. The view from the breakfast room is nothing to rave about but the breakfast is OK. The bedroom where I stay was comfortable, the only problem being that the water in the bathroom was tepid rather than hot....

The staff here was nice, although we had a problem communicating. but it is centrally located in Edirne and an easy walk to the main pedestrian mall. The beds -- not so comfy and what is the story with the shower?? No curtain -- so water is everywhere in the bathroom. I just couldn't figure out how to do it.... More

You should certainly go to Edirne if you are interested in Ottoman Turkey. It has three exquisite mosques from slightly different eras with fascinating differences, and one of them Sinan's best work in his own opinion. We had a very good experience of Saray hotel during our short stay in Edirne. Located next to the main street in Edirne, yet quiet and reasonably priced. Friendly and professional staff, free parking and wi-fi. Be careful with the pricing. When we checked in in the reception desk, we saw a framed paper with the room pricing in it.
