Spent one night there whilst on a kayaking trip from Auckland to Tauranga. The hosts were very helpful and the amenities were excellent. Our site was very close to the water which helped for the moving of the kayaks.

We've stayed here quite a few times now so I thought it was about time I reviewed it on Tripadvisor. It's great value for money but better than that, if you like being right by the sea and like catching fish then you cant beat this spot. Value for money in accomodation like it so much we brought into the camp and nw have our own site. We stayed here with family, and while I'm not used to 'ablution block' style accommodation, the fact that everything was so clean and tidy made it fine. What a wonderful spot. Also as we didn't have kids we thought it was great that it wasn't a swimming beach, except at low tide. A real fishermans place. Camp site was clean, the noisiest thing was the tractor in the morning. If you haven't been that far up the Coromandel, do yourself a favour. We've booked to go next... More
