Driving Creek Villas was the first place we stayed in New Zealand and it was wonderful. The Villas are very clean, private, and stylish. Our host was very polite and helpful and I would recommend his outfit to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

These villas are spacious and very well appointed. David was friendly and informative. We used the gas BBQ in the garden one evening and borrowed the bikes the other two evenings to cycle the 3km into Coromandel Town for dinner (Success Cafe excellent and PepperTree good). We stayed 3 nights as part of a 6 week trip. We could easily have spent the whole 6 weeks there. We have visited NZ twice before over the past 5 years and sampled many different accommodations but this is by far the best. Everything about the villa was just right. The attention to detail, tasteful decor and the provision of everything one could need is exceptional and at a good price. The beautiful garden and landscaping (leading onto a reserve) ensures a tranquil, secluded stay. My only regret was not being in a position to stay longer but will certainly be booking again.

My family (10 of us including 4 grand children) rented the 3 villas that comprise the property for 3 nights.
