When we checked in, the girl showed us to our room, which was very clean and nice, but had large windows facing the sun, and was somewhat warm. The air conditioning couldn't be turned on until the next Monday. After several hours with the windows open, it was still warm, so my wife complained to the owner. The owner booked... More

For us, the last night of a vacation is usually a just a little depressing – time to pack up and to prepare for the long flight home. However, this holiday was an exception as we stayed in Fiumicio at Domus Lina and we thoroughly enjoyed our final day and morning in Italy. Even though we had the convenience of... More

Domus Lina is a beautiful little hotel with comfortable rooms, it's more like home than a hotel. There is a beautiful view from the terrace on the third floor. Elvira! Don't forget the name! She was in charge while we were there and was so helpful with recommendations for food and shopping as well as help with whatever we needed.... More

My husband and I booked a room for a night at Domus Lina before flying back to the USA because of its reasonable price. We called them from the train from Venice to Rome to let them know the time we would arrive in, and they asked us what we would like for dinner! We said chicken without knowing what... More

We stayed in this nice family running hotel on 2 April on return back home after Easter. Just wanted to relax one day after noisy big towns before our flight. Very nice design, friendly atmosphere and nice breakfast. Many thanks to Alfredo and Elvira for nice reception! We highly recommend this hotel in a calm and nice town near the... More

In the past 5 years I've probably stayed at over 40 different hotels, hostels and/or B&B's. The Domus Lina in Fiumicino/Rome, Italy has to easily rank amongst the absolute best places I've ever stayed. There are many excellent hotels out there, some pricey, some not. But what separates Domus Lina from so many is that they give you an amazing... More

The pictures created for us the feeling that this is a separate building in a open area, like a villa or something like this. IT IS NOT. It is in the midlle of Fiumicino which is not the charmest place around, in a backstreet building with a tiny entrance and a cheapy look from the outside. It came as a... More

My family spent our last night in Italy in this exceptional lovely boutique hotel. It was wonderful in every way. Beautiful room, wonderful family staff, unexpected service. We had an early flight in the morning, but the staff made sure we were given a huge selection of breakfast to go items the night before. I am just sorry our stay... More

We landed at Rome airport, it was quite late therefore we ordered a place for one night as close as possible. An extremely nice lady was waiting for us (Elvira) though it was late, welcomed us, very warm, excellent hospitality. The place itself was recently renovated, nice and cozy, very clean, includes whatever one may need Deal also included a... More

This is a rather late review, my partner and I stayed at Domus Lina in June 2012 for one night at the end of our ten day holiday in Italy. At first, because we had arrived through the back streets of Fiumicino, we were concerned that we had chosen a poor location to stay in for our last night. However,... More
