Perfectly clean hotel with attentive staff. Dated furnishings. Great airco. No wifi in the room. The breakfast was relatively tasteless and made complicated by covid. However with just a few modifications you wouldn't have to wait on a line for such long periods.
For nearly €100 per night, this hotel does not meet expectations.
It was not my first time at this hotel, but now, it was amazing the hospitality, the kindness, for me and my dog.
During these days, I had to leave the dog in the room, with no objection by the hotel crew.
Besides that, for a 3 stars hotel in a small portuguese city, the service is good, everything is really clean. All the rooms have a very nice balcony.
We stayed right next to the elevator so everytime elevator was used we could hear some noise.
Also our room had view to main street, so at night lot os noise from bars and people on the street, poor noise isolation.
Had problems with neighbours next room, making noise late at night, called to the reception, and in a couple of minutes everything was quiet.
Breakfast is all you can expect for a 3 star hotel.
-Relaxing, fresh air
-Perfect for going on a walk at night
-close to Lisbon
-good prices
-there aren't souvenirs shops
-the restaurants menus have a lot of pizzas and spaghetti
It is a bit run down though and could use renovation. They include a nice breakfast with the room so a good value.
"Rooms on the third floor facing south are sunny and have better ventilation. They can be noisy though as they overlook the central piazza."Read full review
