Large, modern room. Good shower. Beautiful views. We stayed for 4 nights with Neil and Raywyn, hoping to do the Tongariro Crossing from this base. Neil produced a daily weather report and booked our transport to/from Tongariro national park. Raywyn cooked breakfast at 6am before we set off.
